Waters Insurance Agency Hires Amy Fanta Caruthers as Agent and Producer

Parkersburg, W.Va. (May 6, 2020) – Waters Insurance Agency, the Trusted Choice ® independent insurance agency of the Mid-Ohio Valley, today announced the appointment of new agent and producer Amy Fanta Caruthers. Caruthers brings to the team fifteen years of sales and marketing experience both in the insurance industry and financial sector.

As a licensed agent, Caruthers will be responsible for securing the best insurance coverage for individuals, families and businesses in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Coverage options include, but are not limited to home, auto, personal property, business owners, commercial property and workers compensation insurance. She will also be responsible for the marketing efforts of Waters Insurance Agency and the other subsidiaries of Fanta Insurance, Inc.

Prior to joining Waters Insurance Agency, Caruthers was most recently a senior marketing specialist with the largest publicly traded company headquartered in West Virginia overseeing the advertising and public relations efforts throughout West Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia. She was also a top-producing mortgage loan originator in Charleston, W.Va.

Earning a Bachelor of Science in journalism from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, she is also a graduate of Parkersburg High School.
